LingoBee is designed for children ages 2-5 and we are committed to complying with applicable children’s privacy laws.


1. Information We Collect

LingoBee is designed to work entirely on your device. We collect minimal information:

  • Learning Progress: Stars earned, streaks, and game progress are stored locally on your device.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous, aggregated data such as app crashes or feature usage may be collected to improve performance.

We do not collect names, email addresses, photos, location data, or any other personally identifiable information from children.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

  • Track your child’s learning progress within the app.
  • Improve app performance and fix bugs.

All learning data is stored locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted to external servers.


3. Third-Party Services

LingoBee may use trusted third-party tools for anonymous crash reporting and analytics. These services may collect limited technical data (device type, OS version) but no personal or children’s data is shared.

We do not serve advertisements of any kind within the app.


4. Subscriptions and Payments

LingoBee offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.


5. Data Security

All data is stored securely on your device. We do not transmit personal data over the internet. You are responsible for protecting your device and any backups you make.


6. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can:

  • View your child’s learning progress within the app.
  • Delete all data by uninstalling the app.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any major changes through the app or App Store listing.
